Re.Use

I am a stickler for using reusable bags when I go to the grocery. Not only is it much easier to carry home your goods in a cloth bag rather than paper or plastic, but I also usually save $.20 at Whole Foods which I then have the option of donating to NYC Food Bank. Win win all around. Here are a couple finds that are sure to brighten your mundane grocery trips...

*Want even cheaper? Whole Foods sells reusable sacks made from recycle plastic bottles for only $.99 each.

cupcakes

If you know me, you know i loooove cupcakes! I live on the upper west side, which also happens to be the home of Magnolia Bakery (1 block away), Buttercup Bakery (4 blocks away), and Crumbs Bakery (7 + an Avenue block.) And while I celebrated 25 this past weekend, I definitely had my fair share of cupcakes, and even more lethal, the icing. Any who, lately I have run across some really fun cupcake items that almost inspire me enough to start baking.
